Mr. Rajendra R. Chaturvedi

I, Mr. Rajendra R. Chaturvedi the Founder and Ex - Chairman of Shreepati Group of Companies, completed my Civil Engineering in the year 1979 and began my business in the year 1984.

With the landscape of South Mumbai giving the opportunity, I take up this challenge with hope in my eyes, fire in my belly and liquid steel running in my veins to set about championing the cause of well thought, through resettlement and rehabilitation schemes.

I did, undertake multiple initiatives, adopting the cluster approach that forged me to create masterpieces and then our company Shreepati Group came into being.

In 1987 – 1992 I completed the construction and redevelopment of the Raghavji building through the In-house construction and Management of the Shreepati Group.

In 1994 I envisioned the construction of a 45 storey building. This concept was never thought before anywhere in India. Through the next few years I had went through several trials and tribulations to complete the tallest residential building in India (at that time). Shreepati Arcade, at 158 meters dwarfed every residential building around and set the benchmark for all the forthcoming Shreepati Properties, for which me and our company Shreepati Group came to be known as similarly ‘Tallest, Largest and Biggest'.

The year 2000 brought me the ‘Pimpalwadi’ project. By forming the very first joint venture of a public- private partnership, it helped me to take off the Pimpalwadi project (Shreepati Jewels) in April 2003. Having aligned our core business vision with the larger canvas of infrastructure development our company Shreepati Group has etched for itself a pivotal role in Mumbai's changing Real Estate scenario.

Today we have more than 20 projects to our credit and we are being recognized as a High Rise Developer. A role that is in keeping with the government's vision for the future. A role that will see it change the Mumbai skyline forever, and that is just the beginning of Shreepati Global.

In 2014-2015, a project was planned in Colombo – 96 Iconic Tower having a subsidiary in the name of Shreepati’s Edifice (Pvt.) Ltd. The project was planned and conceived but could not take off because of the delay in funds by the Funding Partner.

In 2017, a big transformation took place in Real Estate Sector. Similarly, I thought of putting our company into transformation. In November 2017, I took a decision to resign from Chairman, Managing Director, Director and Designated Partner position in all the Shreepati Group companies and on 17/11/2017 I handed over the batten to my son Mr. Tapas R. Chaturvedi for the future of Shreepati Group.
